Lorenzo Lotito is an Italian composer born in 1979 in Perugia. At the age of 14 he began singing, playing the guitar, and composing his first songs. He appreciates the music of The Beatles, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, The Cure and Coldplay. In 1996, Lotito won the contest "Musicalavita - Hope Music Festival" - with the song Controvento. With the assistance of scholarship in 2002, Lotito attended the CET - Centro Europeo di Toscolano (founded by the famous lyricist Mogol), where he won a local festival with the song Believe It. In 2003 the song Dolcemente was chosen by the contest "Premio Lunezia" as the main theme of the event. The CD single was released by Rai Trade. Lotito graduated in Communication Sciences in 2004 and now works as a television journalist in Perugia.
