Syntax

To use this template, copy the following code at the top of your profile page and fill in the parameters. All parameters are optional.

Parameters

name

Real name or nickname. Defaults to the page name (without Profile: part).

image

Name of an image uploaded on the wiki. e.g. john_smith.jpg

caption

A caption that appears under the image.

username

Username on Young Composers.

userlink

Link to forum profile on Young Composers.

dob

Date of birth. Age is calculated automatically, if the date of birth entered is correct in English. (Format doesn't actually matter as long as it's used in English - 1 January 1989, January 1, 1989, and 1989-01-01 are all acceptable. It's suggested not using mm/dd/yy or dd/mm/yy, since they can be ambiguous - British and American English use different conventions - and the wiki might not be able to read them correctly.)

residence

Where the user lives.

compsince

Composing since...

compstyle

Style of composition.

compworks

Number of complete works.

mw

List of major works.

email

Email address. (Note: It is suggested that you don't enter your email address as-is, but try to hide it from spam-bots. e.g. user (at) domain (dot) com or userNOSPAM@domain.com instead of user@domain.com)

site

User's personal website. You have to make the link yourself: [http://www.example.com Clickable text]

facebook

Facebook profile. Like site, you have to make it a link yourself.

aim

Your AOL Instant Messenger username.

msn

Your Live Messenger address. (Note: See note for the email parameter.)

skype

Your Skype username.

yahoo

Your Yahoo! Instant Messenger username.
