Description

The "citation needed" tag is used to indicate that a statement is factually doubtful or controversial, and would require verification and citation to support it. This tag should be used in cases where an editor cannot find a credible source to confirm or disprove the statement, but has reason to doubt its accuracy.

This template adds articles to Category:Articles needing editing.

Syntax

Simply add {{fact}} at the end of a statement requiring verification. Please follow the manual of style recommendations for footnote and tag placement (relative to quotes, punctuation, etc.)
