Inspire is a BBC Proms project that encompasses a competition, Inspire Composer Labs & an Inspire Day in London.

Composer Labs

In 2010, as with previous years, the BBC held 6 regional composer labs up and down the country, with a team of musicians working with 12-18 year olds.

Competiton

The Inspire Competition, currently in its 12th year, is open to 12-18 year olds who want the chance to get their music heard by a wider audience. The competition in 2010 closes on the 28th May<ref name="BBC">[1]>.

Composer Labs - Online!

In April 2010, for the first time, the BBC released a set of videos making the 'Composer Labs Online' collection. They can be found here.
