Requirements
Admissions reviews each application, considering every aspect of an applicant's strengths. They look for prospects who reflect the rich diversity of their curriculum, as musicians or writers, or in business, production, music therapy, or music education. Berklee accepts students who show potential; who are creative, like to work together with people, and open to new ideas; who are problem solvers and entrepreneurs; who have something extra that sets them apart.
The audition and interview process, evaluates the prospective student, and provides Berklee with information to assess your ability to succeed at Berklee.
The board of admissions takes into consideration both academics and musical aptitude. Berklee does not specify a minimum GPA or test score, nor does it have any specific high school class requirements. Applicants must be able to speak English and be eligible for higher education in the country where they are attending school.
