About
Kostika Collaku, composer, sound engineering and producer.Born in Korca, Albania on July 4th, 1989.At the age of 2 he moved to Thessaloniki. He started composing at the age of 15 with no music education. He began studying music theory and taking piano lessons at the age of 18 and he graduated from ischool in speciality 'Music with Technology' with diplomatic subject Music and Picture.
Composing Style
Collaku is a tonal composer but most of his work has deviations from classical harmony. According to him, he is a melodists and he gives too much emphasis on chords progression.
Awards
Kostika Collaku has won 2 awards and 1 commendation at the 7th International Composing Competition (2009) organized by Volos conservatoroire Foudoulis in association with International Art Society & Academy.
